Requirements
The programme is suitable for
business executives with a minimum of 5 years experience at Managerial,
Junior Partner or Supervisory level.
Experience of managing staff is a major advantage. The programme
will be highly relevant to company directors. Delegates should be able to
indicate a genuine interest in, and ideally some experience of, coaching,
counselling or personal development.
A one-hour personal interview with a tutor may be required to match
candidate credentials to the programme objectives.

ACCREDITATION
At the end of the programme, candidates will register for
an Individual Learning Contract with the University of Derby that
enables them to work towards the post -graduate qualification PGCert.
Coaching Skills.
This is a Learning through Work initiative which permits
delegates to agree a bespoke learning programme of personal choice
with the University of Derby.
Full details of the accreditation process will be given by
University of Derby on Module 1 of the course.
As an illustration, the following would be a typical
approved programme of study leading to the Award of a Post Graduate
Certificate.

Production
of a portfolio of evidence to the University of Derby of the
following:
·
Completion
of the 12 day series of three modules
·
3 written assignments (1500 words each) on coaching topics
·
A journal recording the candidate’s personal learning and
self awareness from the coaching process
·
Three coaching assignments with written evidence of
preparation, coaching activity and reflection.
·
Written feedback from coachees.

experience as a life coach, counsellor and therapist.

and Relate certified trainer, NLP Practitioner, and Member of the National
Council of Psychotherapists. A skilled 1:1 life coach and group trainer
whose clients range from senior company directors to lone parents.
Affiliate tutor to CEO and authorised tutor for University of Derby for UK
Leading Executive Coaching Programme for MD’s.
Louise Trevatt
Qualified NLP Practitioner, Licensed NLP Training Specialist
and Hypnotherapist. Diploma
Management Studies and qualified member of Institute of Personnel
Development.
Louise held sole responsibility for Management Development in a leading
retail company. Current
coaching clients include Director of a Sales Engineering Company; Director
of a Private Equity Company. Louise
is responsible for business support within the University of Derby,
working with start-ups, new ventures, incubator businesses and growth
companies.
